Even if there was no delay Bartman was following the flight of the ball and probrally wasn't concentrating plus the buzz of the crowd at that moment.

To answer your question Oz. Yes Bartman will be forever rememebered by Cubs fans and the tale will be passed on for generations. Especially because it will be replayed by sports shows on TV forever. Even if the Cubs win a World Series that moment will be replayed forever.

Man, now the national media is catching up to this idea. I've heard it talked about on talk radio too. I'll take the credit for pushing this campaighn. Jeter is like .340 12 72. Dye is .326 37 100. I know Jeter plays a more important position and plays it pretty well. BUT THERE IS NO COMPARRISON HERE. Dye is close to Ortiz and closing. Plus some weight should be given to who makes the playoffs. Ortiz has a slight lead still. But if those East coast, Jeter dick sucking, writters give it to the Yankee shortstop that would be a joke.

Well then that would eliminate Ortiz R&B. He might not get the votes because of the stupid media that won't look into it and only watch the east coast teams. But that doesn't mean he's not the MVP.

It was a bad joke Bear. Dye is fucking great and I like that he doesn't get much media attention. Hate to sound like a broken record of chicago sports fans, but if he was in NY or Boston he would be a God.

even if ortiz wasnt down, if boston doesnt make the playoffs he shouldnt be the MVP. i bet his numbers would still be allstar caliber, but not near as huge if he didnt have a hitter like manny in the lineup with him.
