I don't want to sound like a pissing and moaning Sox fan but I've become fed-up with the way they have started to screw Sox fans who have been season ticket holders before the Big win last year .

I've had my seats for about 4 years and last year we were able to purchase extra seats for the playoffs for being season ticket holders. They have removed that benefit this year .Fine, Ok what ever, there not getting this year anyway.

Today, I get a letter in the mail about Sox fest that as being a Sox season ticket holder , that I will no longer be offered special access to Soxfest tickets and if I want to attend I must purchase a two-night stay at the Palmer house for $249 and on top of that I must purchase another ticket at $75 a pop to attened the fest. BLOW ME !!

Two years ago the Sox offered Ozzie to come and get me and bring down becuase people could care-less about Sox fest for Christ sakes..

Way to stick up my ass White Sox ..You could not get people in your park for 10 years and you win 1 World Series and now it's screw your loyal fans who came and supported you when no one gave a f uck ..

They have not done a job of creating a feeling of exclusivity by being a season ticket holder. If the could not fit the ST holder into Soxfest because of demand, then they should have had an extra day set aside only for ST (at a cost of course).

On the other hand I have stopped going to those conventions. It is a little too similar to a Star Trek convention for me.

Well put Dolphin ..They opened the flood gates with last years deal in where if you purchased World Series tickets , you had to buy season tickets. I had to pay $6,000 just last week for the playoff tickets(that they won't be playing in ) and then I get the screw you letter about Soxfest.

They also raised my seats another $3 dollars which is fine but membership should have it's privelges..

To be objective, of all pro-franchises in town, the Sox sales staff is the most pleasant to deal with. I have done group purchases with each.

I agree with you Coach ..My ticket rep Dave Elkin is great kid and gets back to me anytime I have a question..

It's the fact that they are ignoring the real sox fans and they are cashing in on their success at the expense of the loyal fans that I have a problem with .

The players are great to me and I have to say that for being World Champs that they go out of their way to sign things and send back notes with things I have sent to be signed thanking me ..Which is very cool in today's athlete. I've sent balls and photos for charity functions I've been involved with and every player has sent notes back to say thanks .

Brooks isn't bad, will reply to every email you send him. Actually hooked me up big time last year when I had a weird situation. Very fan friendly/interactice.

I heard last year was bad (with size and the hotel not planning ahead well), though I don't see why they have this new thing where passes are not included with the hotel plans and you need one to get the pass
