The Vasquez slump is continuing, but so is the Linebrink slump. Why do I feel the Sox will lose again today even with the lead?

Because the Sox are going to lose again today even though they have the lead. It's what they do.

The Sox lineup is full of suck right now, with only Konerko and Jones hitting over .250.

If you are going to put Kotsay at the leadoff, you might as well just leave Pierre there.

If Rios wasn't in Chicago with his wife (squeezing out a little Rios), I doubt the Balck Frenchman would be in the game.

What is with this Yankee slow play bullshit? That game Saturday lasted way too long. Now they are throwing to first when Paul Konerko is STANDING ON the base?

Buehrle is not fooling anyone up there. This season is getting late quick.

The funny thing about the Yankees and Red Sox playing stallball is that if you give one team shit for it, the other team's fans jump in to defend their common practice. Like, if we had a significant contingent of Red Sox fans and you were like "geez, fuckin Yankees, hurry this shit up already," the Sox fans would be like "OH I FORGOT BASEBALL GAMES SHOULD ONLY TAKE FIFTEEN MINUTES, LET'S NOT TRY TO WIN SO WE CAN GET OUT OF HERE, THIS IS WHY WE'RE THE BEST." They deserve each other. God help us all when the two teams play. A nine-inning game routinely takes in excess of four hours when they play.

Correct.

Though, a Mr. John Danks is going to take that title away in the next few months or so.

Ozzie's stuck between a rock and a hard place. While he was ejected for arguing balls & strikes for a second time this season in the bottom 7th, he can't be pleased about the middle of his infield. I listened to the end of today's debacle with Ed & D.J. on 670 The SCORE & the TOYOTA Chicago White Sox Radio Network when second baseman Gordon Beckham led off the inning with what was originally called an error on shortstop Ramiro Pena, while the Ranger said at least twice in the "Comcast Feedback Zone Postgame Show" that #15 singled in the top 9th and scored on Paul Konerko's meaningless three-run homer to avoid the shutout. Nevertheless, Beckham's now hitting .211 after an 0-for-4 day with 3 K's and a run scored in their 12-3 beatdown by the Champs from the Bronx. Shortstop Alexei Ramirez went 0-for-2 and is now hitting .215 and committed 2 errors in the field before Jayson Nix pinch hit and finished the game there. Nix is only hitting .188, while Omar Vizquel is hitting only .115. What does Ozzie do about this? I think he should move Beckham down in the batting order until he can find his way out of his slump, while Ramirez...Don't get me started! :x :x

Franklin, I think he may have already taken it. Danks has been my favorite Sock for the last two seasons. I love to watch him pitch.
