i filled in all the blown ump calls that hawk wasn't able to make. i think i counted about 38, but i'm sure i missed about 59 of them.

I turned the game on right as damon stepped to the plate in the 8th and seriously thought Hawk was just giving them the silent treatment for blowing the lead.

The Ranger has filled in for both Ed Farmer & Darrin Jackson from time to time on the radio side, Halfpint. I remember earlier this year, Ranger got a firsthand look at the Twins' new Target Field, and worked the first 3 games the White Sox ever played in Minnesota's new ballpark with Farmer on the TOYOTA Chicago White Sox Radio Network.

I know WCIU 26 The U has the game tomorrow, and Steve Stone is no Ken Harrelson as a play-by-play voice. Then again, I think you can build a strong case that Farmer & Jackson aren't PBP worthy either.
