I was noticing Poindexter Sherman's "year in review" column and he said that part of the new Sox-WSCR deal "the team will have its own HD statlon."

Anyone know any more? Is it actually up and running? I don't have one of those digital radio things...

To my knowledge, the new White Sox HD Radio station is not up & running just yet. The new station, I believe will be found on WJMK-104.3-3HD, and will eventually feature original Sox-themed shows and replays of games that will be heard on 670 The SCORE first come springtime.

It's also believed that Owner/Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf's other team, the Bulls, might also find their way to this new HD station. That raises speculation whether WSCR will make a run at the Bulls' radio rights when their rights-free deal with ESPN Radio 1000 expires after the 2011-12 season.
