I used to love reading the probables in the sports page as a kid, and I know there's some other OCD- nerdy baseball fans out there who likes to see the numbers.

No Frank, I just expect more from a team that has won a WS in the last ten years in the third largest market. Do I expect perfection? Nope, that is impossible. Do I expect them to play much, much better than they do every April-May in the last 3 years? You better fucking believe it. If this was the Royals, I would expect this because no one gives a fuck about them and it shows. The Sox have talent, but it just does not come through from the start and it is not consistent enough as it should be. Every year the hitting is "hit or miss" and the pitching takes a long time to get worked out.
