Agreed Boyd. No reason why they shouldn't take two of these. They'll win the Peavy start, and I will hold out hope that we'll see good Gavin in this series. I have no faith in Danks anymore. You just don't know what you're ever getting...kinda like how I felt every time Vasquez or Contreras took the bump.

I'm actually more concerned about losing the Peavy start. Lowe has pretty good numbers, and as a sinkerballer, once he gets through the first inning or 2, he's a tough guy to hit off of...especially for the Sox.

I don't find anything very impressive about the Indians, yet they are playing well and are in 1st place. Why are they a good team?

They have guys that can hit. Just no one with a big name. Their pitching staff isn't bad. It helps that the Tigers are underperforming for the last 30-some games...I think I heard Gammons mention that they're 11-22 in their last 33 games.

Lefty Jose Quintana starts in the place of John Danks tonight for the White Sox. In just 5 1/3 innings of relief back on May 7th in Cleveland, he held the Indians to just 1 hit and no runs during Game 1 of the Sox/Indians' day-night DH at (Not So) Progressive Field, both won by the Tribe.
