An hour and a half build up just for a scene of a guy facing the corner of a wall. One of the worst movies ever.

yep. I was looking for a "go stand in the corner" type of picture and this one had a little flair from the Blair.

One of the most stylistically copied movies of the last 20 years. I know it didn't originate found footage and POV filming but it certainly popularized it.

I loved The Blair Witch as much for the on line and cable supporting mythology as for the movie.

Agreed. If you watch the movie now, it's horrible, but it was the original mockumentary, and when I saw it in the theater, I thought it was real (I was like 15). It scared the hell out of me.

Fair enough. When I saw it as a young teen I thought it was cool but I watched it again a few years ago and thought "what the fuck is this shit?". I'm a sucker for these lost footage movies though. I can't get enough of them.

Me, too. People have been complaining that the found footage stuff is overdone, but I don't really understand why it has to be a fad. I like it better than regular angles (in some instances).

I saw it in the theater and I thought it was terrible. Not scary at all, and I nearly threw up because of 90 minutes of shaky camera work.

Has anyone translated success as an actor in found footage to a mainstream career? It seems like you never hear from these people again. Katie Featherstone is like the Jamie Lee Curtis of found footage and I don't recall ever seeing her in another type of movie.

I think it really presents some interesting options in telling the story. I like when there is a blend of POV and real filming with the POV telling a different, more truthful version of events.

Best one I seen recently is Devil's Pass. It was on Netflix when I watched it. Not sure if it's still there.

Does this mean you are finally admitting 2005 was luck? or Do you subscribe to one persons theory that it was the GM who won it?

Do you really believe it was "luck"? If so, how is it that the team you root for hasn't found any luck in 108 seasons? That almost defies belief, doesn't it?
