like i said...a.l. pitching is just better than n.l. ...1-5 ....the a.l. beats up on the n.l....the sox still suck and win maybe 82 games .

Theo and the North Side fruitmeisters had better hope so, because many would attribute the Red Sox 2 WS victories more to juiced-up roidheads Manny and Ortiz than to Theo's little computer program.

I won't question their fight. There wasn't one guy in that lineup other than Castro who is a big league starter.

I don't think they gave up. They are basically an AAA offense and bullpen, with some decent starting pitching. They are gonna win games because they will get a great start sometimes and some clutch hitting. But when they are going up against a team that is pretty hot, or a team like the Sox who happened to be clicking on all cylinders this series, that blue L flag is gonna be flying a whole lot.

i would not say the sox are hot...they just did what most a.l. teams do to n.l. teams....a.l. pitching is just better..too bad gordo could not keep facing n.l. pitching..he might hit 270 in the n.l.

And yeah Panther, its not effort. This Cub team is one of the hardest trying teams in recent years. Just lack talent....for now
