Teams are targeting SS Tim Anderson, #White Sox's No. 1 prospect, as well as pitching prospects in trade talks.

yuck

low power (for 3B), low OBP (and decreasing every year in the league), average fielder

I'd rather just go with a strong defender at the position

Isn't he also thought to be somewhat of a clubhouse cancer as well?

He is an absolute turd of epic proportions.

From his time with Brewers? Or am I remembering this wrong?

He may be the worst clubhouse guy in baseball.

Some would have said that about A.J. going into 2005

yeah? what'd he do?

The one time I actually went to Wrigley to see a Cubbie game was vs. the Diamondbacks. My youngest was a big Diamondback fan & actually was wearing his DBacks jersey. After the game my son ran into (Cy Young winner) Brandon Webb on the way to the team bus. He(Webb) had me go to a space where all the DBacks would be coming out & thought he could get him all the autographs he wanted. (I couldn't believe that he would do that, or that the visiting players leave Wrigley the way they do)

The first few guys ignored the adult autograph trolls & signed for my son at Webb's insistence. Justin Upton not only broke the trend, but went out of his way to stop Chris Young(?) from signing for my son. My son (& I) have despised Upton ever since.

The funny thing is that his name oddly comes up 1-2x a year & I don't pass on the opportunity to blast that prick. The last time was with a Braves "ambassador" & mentioned that he and others in the organization wholeheartedly agree with me.

Yes from his time with the Brewers RPB, there are stories of him coming up and his arrogance and rage.

Not to defend him but I could see souring on the whole autograph thing in general. You know those loser adults will send kids up to get it for them in some cases.

But then you walk over and give the kid a high five and he remembers THAT forever.

To be honest seeing adults with numerous autograph books trying to get autographs is a very sickening thing to me personally, I love when players don't sign for them and sign for the kids and yes I am sure some of those kids are getting them for collectors. Which is a whole nother level of pissed offness to me.

I tried to point at all of the ass clowns that were crowded around with books & books of crap to be signed & I used that very defense to help ease my boy's disappointment. It didn't work, but I got him to focus on Brandon Webb & how nice he was.

My son has never asked for another autograph, but he still has that old glove Webb signed.

Griffey did the same to me when I was 16 and he was a rookie. FUCK HIM. Last time I ever asked for an autograph. Good lesson to learn.

White Sox spent a portion of the day talking internally about lining up a series of possible moves. Things could start to heat up.

Big time buzz with this franchise and this management team!

Robin said it's possible the Sox open the season with Davidson at 3B and Saladino at SS.

Read that without laughing.

Per @JPerrotto, #WhiteSox offered #Pirates Adam LaRoche in a trade, offered to pay $8m of his $13m salary in '16. Bucs declined

#WhiteSox trade RHP Myles Jaye to #Rangers for LH reliever Will Lamb. Jaye, who was Rule 5 eligible, throws avg FB, nice SL, has avg control

OUCH

Are the Braves interested? Maybe if the Sox kick in another couple million? They already picked up Beckham, Flowers and Bonifacio as key pieces to their run at the #1 overall pick. The more 2015 White Sox offense the better Braves! These boys wont let you down!

He can't be better than Montero. Ask Bernstein.

Another example of coming up with an answer to a question and then pretending like that answer is correct.
