Good News: There's really no one left, of substance, to trade (Robert sucks). Therefore, they shouldn't get worse.

Bad News: this is year three in a four year run of 100 loss seasons.

One team is a playoff team this year and has a farm system to pull off a major deadline move. The other team is hopeless for the next three or four years.

The situation on the farm is really awful too. Colson Montgomery is basically a non-prospect now and Kyle Teel is teetering.

They are careening towards the worst three run in the history of the sport and they probably wont even have a single first overall pick to show for it.

Teel has .739 OPS, by catcher standards, that's not exactly "teetering."

He's 25 and just made his MLB debut. Might as well kick the tires and see if there's anything there. It makes more sense to give him playing time than 28yr old Nick Maton, who owns a career .202avg and .622 OPS over 570 big league at bats.

Andrew Vaughn is just terrible. They might as well have kept Gavin Sheets. Or resigned the corpse of FAR SUPERIOR.
