John Fisher has been as destructive as Reinsdorf has and the owners just promoted him to the executive committee. If they liked what Fisher did in the Bay Area, they must love what Reinsdorf is doing here.

Well, therein lies another problem. Manfred is an idiot and is doing his best to destroy the game along with the SABR nerds.

Nothing more tells you how far apart these teams are when the Cubs dump this awful player and the White Sox scoop him up.

Thought the Cubs cut him...now it's a trade?

How many shitty infielders does one team need?

Stop. It’s fucking ass wipes like you that ran Benetti out of town and now we are stuck listening fucking high school level garbage. Benetti is a million times better than Schriffen. Take your misophonia and rewatch some of these amateur broadcasts on YouTube.

Settle down, dipshit. No one is talking about Schiffren. Viewers don't want to watch the Sox (or Cardinals) struggle while the announcers shovel in a mountain of free food on the air and the 2000 in attendance fork it over for $12 beers. Even 400 lb. orange oaf Sciambi can make it 9 innings without picking up a fork. Not sure why you are being a penis/vag about this, but the only asswipe is you. Go enjoy Gage Workman.

They've used an opener in every game this series. We'll see if this is some sort of A's related tactic or if they're going to do this frequently going forward.

Today's loss....41-121 pace.

Minutes earlier LeBron loses... now down 3-1.

Hopefully top it off with a Cubs win.

This isn't funny anymore. I always made fun of the "well I'm just a Chicago baseball fan" people but I'm pretty much there now. For the good of the city's global standing I need the White Sox to stop being on pace to lose 121 games.

It is just sad. I remember when the Cubs/Sox thing was at a fever pitch in the 00’s and now they don’t even care about each other.

Well when one team hasn't won a playoff game this decade and the other has it's not much of a discussion.

There’s a possibility Jeery’s making them so bad, Nashville will politely decline.

Good News: There's really no one left, of substance, to trade (Robert sucks). Therefore, they shouldn't get worse.

Bad News: this is year three in a four year run of 100 loss seasons.

One team is a playoff team this year and has a farm system to pull off a major deadline move. The other team is hopeless for the next three or four years.

Maybe things change this year for the Cubs. Good luck.

Andrew Vaughn is already a -1.0 WAR, which is virtually impossible to do less than one month into the season.

The situation on the farm is really awful too. Colson Montgomery is basically a non-prospect now and Kyle Teel is teetering.

They are careening towards the worst three run in the history of the sport and they probably wont even have a single first overall pick to show for it.

This run is a blip. It doesn’t even scratch the surface of worst moments in franchise history.

The Rockies at 4-23 so far this year may end up begging to differ.

Teel has .739 OPS, by catcher standards, that's not exactly "teetering."

He's 25 and just made his MLB debut. Might as well kick the tires and see if there's anything there. It makes more sense to give him playing time than 28yr old Nick Maton, who owns a career .202avg and .622 OPS over 570 big league at bats.

Andrew Vaughn is just terrible. They might as well have kept Gavin Sheets. Or resigned the corpse of FAR SUPERIOR.

It'll be fun to have the Rockies and White Sox both vieing for the all-time loss record.

If you're looking for a fun "holiday weekend" trip, Friday July 4th - July 6th you can spend the weekend at Coors Field, watching Sox at Rockies. Fireworks for all!!!
