Saw some recent video of Collins. He really has changed his swing. Absolutely crushed one yesterday. Hopefully getting on the right track.

Adolfo is another guy who has just shot up. Probably top 5 at this point, I just dont think he's going to be the same kind of +++ defender Rutherford will be. If you put Adolfo #2 behind Eloy I would not fuss.

Basabe too is on a rocket ship.

Hansen is toast, forget about him for a year and half.

As for the Winston-Salem OF logjam, it'll be interesting. Basabe is repeating the level and Adolfo is obviously just murdering it. Adolfo also has a nagging elbow problem that the Sox need to watch, that'd be my tiebreaker for now. If this keeps up Adolfo will play his way to Birmingham anyways.

Unfortunately I think they are delaying the inevitable with Adolfo and he is going to have to go under THE KNIFE.

Well they know Adolfo needs surgery. Shouldn't be a huge deal though.

Same thing happened with Sale a few years ago. Looked certain he would need the Tommy John, they kept him afloat though and he managed to get over it. Losing Adolfo, Hansen and Burger for a year+ would really hurt. Also, I have very little faith in Robert staying healthy enough to progress through the system at this point and am starting to consider him fairly irrelevant to the long term picture.

If Hansen needs TJS that is gonna suck.

I think he's pretty much gone, Adolfo is the one they are trying to salvage.

Gleyber Torres had TJ and it was nothing more than a speed bump. They can shut Adolfo down Sept 1 have the surgery and he'll be ready to go for the spring.

I think that was kind of the plan. I thought Hahn said 200 AB and then they will see if they need to shut him down. That means zero years missed. If he can hit, I don't care if he has to roll the ball back to the infield. They will need a DH anyway.

Prospects are suspects but you have to be the most pessimistic analyst I have seen. Robert has a wrist injury and that projects to always being hurt.

Robert's been hurt more than he hasn't been in his short career. Dude tries to steal bases and hasn't a clue what he is doing.

Gotta be more than that. If that were the only criteria, Adam Engel would have been sent down and/or shipped out two weeks ago.

They need room to add a starting pitcher this weekend and apparently whoever was chosen ain't on the 40 right now. I assume Gillaspie will clear waivers or whatever has to happen and he will be back in Charlotte.

Another bomb for Eloy today. That’s four in eleven games. Another week or two and he’ll be ready for a promotion.

Kopech should be in the majors based on ability and who is in front of him alone. Don't want the free agency clock to run, but he's not going to get much better facing AAA hitters.

He must be really strong to lift an entire bullpen.
