Sox can use some more bats. A lot of non-performers in that lineup. A couple of old Cubs might add a spark,Chris Coghlin & Luis Valbuena.

They would come cheap,both with HR power,add versatility and can play a lot of positions.

The Sox are not two middling bench players away from being World Series contenders. If those two guys were that good, don't you think St. Theo would have kept them around?

I no longer believe this team will be in 1st place by the AS Break, but I will stick with my 'above .500 in June' statement. Its not looking good, but I'll stand by it until I'm proven right or wrong either way.

The Sox should have looked into that Rich Hill / Billy Butler package. Butler would hit at US Cellular, and Hill is better than Shields, it seems.
