Carlos Rodon is not a Sox prospect. He is entrenched in their starting rotation, barring trade or injury.

He has been a major leaguer for approximately a year. And not yet a good one.

So you can either call him a prospect, or a below average major league pitcher. Your choice.

Are you suggesting Rodon also needs to be sent back to the minors until he is ready? We agree. Sometimes prospects need more time to cook, like Rizzo.

I agree, IMU does not.

Rodon does not need to go to the minors. He will have a better second half and should be even better next season.
