If I were a baseball entrepreneur I would buy some farm land close to Chicago and northern Indiana and Illinois, and create a Class A farm team or Independent league team and steal fans away from the White Sox and other baseball fans. I might even do some barnstorming and bring in physical comedians and entertainers. I am blessed out here with three good class A teams within about a 25mile radius. Good baseball and nice promotions and much more fun and affordable for families than going to Anaheim, or LA. I think major league baseball as a whole is getting more and more boring and predictable, the owners and players are all mostly selfish.
