I gotta agree with Hawk on this one. Walking that lead-off man is never a good idea, and I don't care if Babe Ruth is standing up at the plate.

Again. The run down!!!! It's so pathetic.

Uribe's fault. That first throw was way too quick. We are just a dumb MLB team on run downs. We have no instincts on it. Just have no fuckin' clue.

Bernsie was right. Hawk is mad today. Bernsie called the "lead-off walk" cry by Hawk today.

Broadway! Good. Javy lets the leadoff guy on in the 3rd, bring him in.

You really want to get in the bullpen that early?

The way Javy has pitched lately, fine with me. Broadway or Richard would have done no worse.

They would expect Broadway to go 5 innings.

Javy is gonna get the message I think. He sees Broadway warming up. Maybe that's the kick in the ass that he needs.

He's a pussy. He has zero killer isntinct. Biggest game of the season so far and he's gonna pitch like an asshole.

I sure as fuck hope I'm wrong and he dominates from here on out, but I don't see him going past the 4th. And if thats the case, leave him off the playoff roster-- if they get there.

As bad as the bullpen has been, I just cannot see it being a good thing to get in there in the 3rd inning. Javy needs to get his stuff together and at least go 6 innings.

Maybe you go with a 3-man rotation for the playoffs and put Javy in the pen. You'll have a day off. Your 1 and 2 starters will be on normal rest for games 4 and 5.

"The SCORE's" Ed Farmer has constantly said it during White Sox games, and says 45% of leadoff walks come around to score. It happened in the 2nd inning tonight, and the Sox paid the price when Jason Kubel smacked that 2 run homer...

Anderson, Owens, Wise, or Swisher would have had that.

Griffey Cost Us!!!!!

Got through 9 outs without any balls hit to him. Leading off the bottom of the 4th he turned an out into a triple!!!!

Mother Fucker.

Trailing 3-1. 1 out...runner on 3rd.

I texted into the poll that the Twins would win the series. I don't want to appear overly negative - just realistic. Bad things happen to us at the Hump Dome.

The run down was bad, but fortunately it didn't cost the Sox.

Javy has been bad. Good 1st, bad 2nd, good 3rd, terrible 4th (and still just 1 out...)

Ozzie continues to be stubborn in playing Ken Griffey Jr. in centerfield! This game could get away in a hurry! :x

Twins are just playing better fundamental baseball right now.

The Sox need to keep it somewhat close and get into that awful pen and hope to win it in the last few innings.

It looks bad. We can still score some runs. We can get to Baker and their bullpen.

But like I said, if we just take one game, in this series, we should win the division.

I'll be honest. I don't know if we will take one game.

Hawk sounds just as upset and frustrated as most of us.

For the homer is can be and how he whines about the umpires, he definetly gives it to the Sox when they play bad.

I've said that before. Everybody says Hawk is a homer; a company man. He certainly trys to sell the Sox.

At times he's as brutal on the Sox as anybody. I doubt any local announcer, across MLB, is as harsh as he gets at times.

For a team that's only hit 109 homers, the Twins make up for it by manufacturing runs, and Javy Vazquez has ZERO CONTROL!

Twins are playing good ball, but Javy is leaving an awful lot of pitches up. Biggest game of the year and he goes out and lays an egg. Thanks Javy, way to earn that $33 million you jagoff.

That's how I've felt all along. That's why I would've preferred at least a 4-game cushion.

Maybe we can win 1 game. We've got Buehrle and Floyd in the next two. Odds are one of them will throw a good to great game.

The White Sox will need at least 1 of them for sure...

I still think we can score 7 or 8 runs tonight. Just don't know if we can hold 'em below 8 runs.

First they need to score 2 or 3 and knock this Baker clown outta there.

...and hope Richard/Broadway can hold them for 5 innings.
