I meant the Tigers frank. The Sox clearly have something to play for and will have a home town crowd to answer to.

I know it's cliche but the Sox REALLY need to score early and often. The sooner they take the fight out of Det the sooner Leyland will clear out his bench.

I thought I was going today but we had a ticket snafu. Hoping to go tomorrow if they win.

In my opinion, this game is a must win.

I think its only fitting that its raining again right now.

Keyser, lots of good tix for tommorow on Stubhub. Nabbed 2 tickets in section 149 last nite for $150, and thats including all the fees.

I'm kinda nervous about this afternoon's makeup game, only because the White Sox bullpen has been shredded pretty badly from the 5th inning on, not just during the Indians' series over the weekend, but during the Twins' train wreck at Minnesota last week that helped put the Sox in the position they're in...

Is the rain going to be gone by 1?

Kinda ironic that it will be Freddie Garcia pitching against the guy he was traded for-Gavin Floyd.

Damn!!! I rushed home and I'll have to wait for a rain delay.

Tom Skilling is coming on the WGN Noon news. They usually lead off with him. I'll tell you guys what he says.

They'll definitely wait as long as they can to get this one in. I guarantee it!

Most Sox fans are happy. The longer the delay, the better chance everybody at work can see it.

Sounds like a winner. Let's do this.

Skilling is off today. Jim Ramsey is coming up after the commercials.

Wise has left a small village on the basepaths recently. I'd still rather AJ hitting second, and BA playing CF hitting 8th.

Sheffield is stuck on 499 homers. That's probably why he's batting 2nd. Trying to get the most ABs for him. He wants to get that over with before next year. He'll be swinging for the fences. Floyd should strike him out 3 times, at least, with that curve ball.

Jim Ramsey said this current rain should be gone from the South side within an hour. But we'll have scattered showers throughout the game probably.

Me too, I have no clue why Wise is still playing. He has done crap the last few games.

Hawk said it doesn't look good now. A lot of Rain over the park for a while. Plus it will take 45 minutes to get the field ready and the pitchers warmed up.

Go for it Good Dolphin. I'll bet this thing doesn't start until 3pm.

Is there any chance that this game doesn't get played today?

I would guess no...I doubt MLB would want to push it to tomorrow, and either make the Sox play their playoff game afterwards, or delay ALDS to Thursday...

No. They'll start it at 7:00 if they have to.

No. It will be played.

Rain will be out of the area in 45 minutes. Then just scattered showers. Maybe.

They have all day and all night to play it. It has to be played.

I'm picturing a midnight first pitch with nobody in the stands, only players and managers in the stadium.

What can I do to kill time? Any suggestions?

I've watched a couple of the free porn clips on brazzers.com. I'm tired of doing that. I'm listening to Ranger and Jesse. That makes time go slower. Need some help to pass the time.
