the cozy dimensions of their home park will benefit their powerful offense.

Kid, the smart move is to wait until the All Star break, unless a king's ransom is offered for one of those players.

Here is why you wait; Starting Friday, the Sox play 32 home games and just 21 road games and 3 of those are at Wrigley Field. So out of 53 games, just 18 are played outside of Chicago. Also of those 53 games, just 21 are against teams with a record of .500 or better (W-L record as of today).

White Sox
5-9 At Home
8-6 On the Road

3 Losses at home to Boston, who is 5 games below .500 with 11 total wins?

continuing a trend from last year

This team has had the comeback years it was hoping to get and is still not good. Dismantle as much as possible so that Danks and Rios are the only bad contracts and rebuild from there.

Is this a fucking question or not? Yes they lost 3 games at home to Boston. Why do you care? How many threads are you going to start about Farmer and/ or the pre/postgame today?

Yes Cairo. 100%!!!! It really doesnt matter what you get for these guys. Take some bums. If you can dump Peavy, Dunn, Thornton, Rios, Beckham, AJ and Konerko or any combo of this group, you can start to build. Their salaries are pathetic and embarrassing for a bad team. Other than Paulie, these guys are losers. I would let Alexei go too. Im sick of watching bad baseball. I'd rather lose with an Oakland A's or KC Royals type team than lose with these guys. What the hell happened to Beckham? Why does this third baseman suck so bad? This team doesnt have anyone other than PK that is worth keeping. And he's gotta go too because he may bring the most at the trade deadline. I cant believe it has come to this. The fucking Cubs are more entertaining.

No, they really aren't. And the above is the kind of thing that the fan that never buys a ticket likes to say. He can just turn it off for three years and come back once Anthony Rizzo has turned into Babe Ruth. If he doesn't, just keep it off until the next guy arrives. Some of us make a commitment to the team with our cash. Most of us don't really want to watch a "Royals-type team".

Example No 12 of Frank getting mad.

JORR thinks Anthony Rizzo will never play another major league game. Out of baseball by October.

I'm sure he'll play a few, but I doubt he'll hit more than LaHair.

Im just gonna apply the opposite of the ridiculous predictions you are attributing to Cub fans

You think Rizzo will be working at a toll booth by the All star game

Like LaHair right now? Likely not.

I wasn't attributing them. They're right there in the thread. There are members of this forum who will be disappointed if Rizzo isn't better than guys who are bound for Cooperstown. It's documented.

Rizzo seems to be a top prospect, but so was Beckham.

Prospects are suspects until they prove otherwise.

But Keyser said Beckham was the next Dustin Pedroia.

Keyser thinks DeAza sucks when he's the best centerfielder the Sox have had since Mike Cameron in '97.
