The only thing that troubles me about this off season is KW pulling the trigger on a Garcia deal prematurely. The Texas trade is great in a vacuum. However, it does make the sox worse for next year. Now, if KW had waited, he could have traded Mc Carthy and kept Garcia. The Sox rotation would have been set for 07, then you let Garcia walk and recieve 2 high compensatory picks. Denks would be ready to fill Garcia's spot in 08 and you still would have Broadway, Sisco and Haeger available if you could not sign Buhrle. This is not hindsight, as that Texas trade could have been completed at the winter meetings.

I think the Sox and particularly Ozzie were very impressed with Haeger but realize you cannot have a knuckleballer out of the bullpen. I think he will be your #5 this year.
