You fart dust, Walt.

Abreu is long overdue for a hit to win a ballgame.

Rangers are the first very good opponent the Sox have faced and they appear up the challenge. Love to get a sweep before going to Balt. and Toronto; it doesn't get any easier.

As nice as a win would be tomorrow I cant imagine the wheels stay on this Latos train too much longer. 2 out of 3 against the Rangers with no Sale is fine by me.

I was happy for a second when I though you misspelled Avisail.

Not starting today... I think he'll be gone soon. Sands has been getting more and more playing time at the expense of Avi.

I like Kevan Smith. Former QB at Pitt. I wish he were here to stay.

I'll take that to mean he isn't an actual big leaguer.

One thing Smith has always done at every level is get on base. Never really bat below .260, never had an OBP below .300, never struck out more 20% of the time; not a lot of power but he's been useful. Who knows, I'm with Keyser in that I believe in the guy a little bit.

Between Avi and catcher, something has to give with this offense.

Latos has a deal with the devil. That's the only logical explanation.

He battled hard today, the way he was leaving it up he should've suffered much more. I'll take it though.

Sox historically have found ways to lose these early games where they struggle to hit. This year (at least so far) they've found ways to win them. They haven't buried themselves.

That's nice.
