If the Sox are going to pay a pitcher $18million in 2020, I would prefer it to be a guy who is younger than 36 and who threw more than 42 innings post AS Break in 2019.

I'd like to personally thank the Atlanta Braves from saving the White Sox from doing something really stupid. They can have a 1-year Cole Hamels for $18.

This puts Bumgarner at a minimum of 5 years / $120 million.

ok, jerry.....4 years / 122 million.....that's 30 million per and gives MadBum one more contract to play for....DO IT.
