Wtf. Steve Stone is saying during the entire at bat that the De La Cruz hits breaking balls but can’t hit a change. So they throw almost all breaking balls and a few fast balls. De La Cruz proceeds to murder a breaking ball and tie it in the 9th.
How the fuck is Katz still employed.

Sox pitchers gave up one run in 10 innings, and you are upset?

Kap is ecstatic about the White Sox playing better. The fact is it's rare for teams to lose 100 or more games in consecutive seasons. The Sox are still in the hunt for 3. The average next year's wins for a 100 or more loss team is 68. It's not that the Sox deserve credit but the odds are against being rock bottom for multiple years. They're still light-years from .500 or the unthinkable playoff contention.

Say what you will about Elko, but he does have some easy power. It doesn't look like he swings that hard and the ball goes out.

Venable barely 2nd to Sizemore for worst winning percentage in White Sox history by a manager.

White Sox on an amazing 117 error pace (27 higher than last year).

Next 3 opponents 12th, 5th, 1st MLB era.

There are maybe 2.5 MLB quality players in their every day lineup. It's nearly impossible to score more than 1 run in any inning because you are never getting to a dangerous part of the order. It's funny because you see some name you have never heard of thinking it might be a prospect and it is some guy who is 30 who has never seen regular MLB at bats

This team is the Spare Bears. No one is crossing a picket line so that portion of distaste is eliminated but JR fielded a team where they only reason you would pay attention is because of the name on the front of the jersey. It would be such an appropriate final middle finger to Sox fans on his way out of the world

Meidroth has potential, Vargas... they need to just run him out there every day until he develops or busts because they gave up three rentals for him. Quero has potential, why the hell did they have Thaiss batting second on Friday?

Robert would be a perfect rental fit in LF for San Diego, except they need the White Sox to eat all the salary. That said, San Diego has prospects to send.

No one is giving up any quality prospects for a guy hitting .182 with 0.2 WAR.

I didn't say quality prospects. But they'd take a chance on giving up a couple of guys in low A if the White Sox ate the salary, because right now they are running Jason Heyward out there.

A wave has a peak and a trough...kind of like you at Wrigley when you take a peak at the trough

If Vargas can keep his OPS north of .715, you leave him there and focus on other areas. Meidroth is really going to have to keep a high batting average to be anything other than a utility infielder. You hope that between Quero and Teel they have the catching position locked down. They're going to have to go out and sign decent position players if they ever want to approach .500.

In an early hole again. Just 1-0, but apart from the Reds series, I haven't turned them on to see them winning all year.

There's a smoking hot chick in right field.

Thomas, you deserve some type of award for keeping up with this team.

What an arm on Munoz. 97MPH sinker? Mercy. Not a fake sinker, like they sometimes call a 2 seam FB a sinker. Thing really does drops off the table.
