They shouldve the moment he was released by the Dodgers. Fuck, they signed Wil "Roberto Duran" Cordero and Joey " Death Race 2000" Belle in the past. Put Bauer on that staff and you have 2 top end starters and a decent 3 if Kopech stays healthy. At least youu would have 3 guys capable of shutting down a good offense instead of running Giolito out there to shit the bed every 5 days.

Don't forget about Estaban "El Chapo' Loazia

The red flag is Clevinger signing super early. He wanted a deal done before anything came out.

Did Uncle Jerry force Hahn to sign a domestic abuser? At least Bauer didn't fuck around. He had TWTW in the bedroom.

Time for the first weight loss story of the new year. Giolitto was fat last year. He has lost some weight and will be better this year.

What? Gio put on weight and built his legs up last offseason only to hit the IL after 4 innings

Maybe he won’t whine that his manager left him in the game because he was gassed in the 6th inning now.

I hope he has a steller 1st half, and they trade his monkey ass for a haul.

According to Jesse Rogers there were rumors about Cleavinger over the years (not domestic violence) he couldn't go into detail about. If he heard them the White Sox heard them. Cleavinger was able to negotiate with teams not knowing of his coming DV investigation protected by it's confidentiality. Would of been interesting if the Cubs had signed him with their losing but "quality humans" culture.

As Ray Rice's wife said, "who gets get hurt the most by denying someone the right to earn a living?"

It's a thought experiment. Don't get mad at me.

Now there's a real possibility. Uncle Jerry need something to top his incredibly stupid ignorant awful evil demented hiring of the baseball ANTICHRIST, the drunken racist, dog fucker, ToeKnee LaRUSE AH.

I’m sure Kenny Jr. brings a lot to the table.

Leery was heard to say the other day that he can't believe the Sox failed to do any "forensic" investigation of Clevinger. When he uses words like this (and accompanies it with that high-pitched laugh he saves for the people he considers exceptionally stupid), I want to punch him in the balls. Go back to being the affable kid who wasn't trying to be a know-it-all like Bernstein.

I don't think that anyone in what passes for a front office bring anything to the table. As usual.

how can they be graded any other way

now that Clevinger is likely gone, I can't remember a single other acquisition, and they lost their top hitter

This was Ivy League level grade inflation and then a big fuck you to Dick Hahn. I’m not saying the Athletic staff is filled with anti-semites, but I’m strongly hinting at it.

I wonder what kind of references Kenny Williams, Jr had. They must have blown Hahn away.

I think we won’t be getting an article from Deadspin on THIS nepotism or wondering how he got that job like we did for Cris Collinsworth’s kid

I doubt he called the 49ers Special Teams coach.

Last year's offseason for the Sox wasn't much better. This front office makes Ryan Pace look good.

Nice to see rogue and Bob continue to post about their favorite baseball team though :D

Uncle Jerry's grandson is a former player who has been around the game his entire life. He knows when an aging HoF player doesn't have any tread on their tires.

Kenny Jr. hard at work trying to lure Yadi out of retirement to fix the Sox catcher issue.
