I will say, I at least respect that he said to Chuck's face instead of gossiping. But it is a bad thought because the media is there to comment on players' and teams' performances.

You respect him for airing an aggressively stupid opinion directly?

For the record it was Ryan McGuffey who said that.

Yeah it was Ryan. And he seemed uncomfortable trying to make the Sox room bad. He actually said it was good. Not that the asshat hosts cared.

Got the most out of...how exactly? By playing them? Did TLR teach Yermin how to bat .400 for a month? If so, why did he stop teaching him?

Edit: for the record, I don't think he was the sole problem. It's always on the players. I just don't think he helped the situation.

I think you can only find so many combinations of TA, designated hitters, and AAA players. He pressed the right buttons for a while. The injuries to pitching, key position players, and the power outage were too much to overcome in the end. I'm not saying TLR was faultless, but I think roster construction was the biggest issue.

Well, Toe Knee put that stupid roster together, played Grandal, Garcia, and the other "gritty" veterans who Toe Knee loved ad nauseum.

I am watching the sox/pads game and am already sick listening to the sox homers talking about how deep the sox are, how moncada is going to drive in runs, eloy has lost weight and is going to be just a peach in right field.

I still think the Sox have the best talent in the division. They don't need a bounce back as much just a return to their average. I think that's entirely possibly with Grandal being the one I'd have less confidence in doing so.

starting line-up
You're delirious. Moncada is a poor major league 3rd baseman. Just watched Grandal LIMP to first. He can't play and they are STUPID to not get a catcher. So, right off the bat, there are two TERRIBLE HOLES ON THE TEAM. Then there is second base. Garcia is a terrible major league player. THREE BAD STARTING PLAYERS ON A NINE PLAYER LINE-UP. Now then, Jimenez playing right field?

This is a team with 3-4 BAD holes in their starting lineup every time they step onto the field. Like I said when I was managing. Put a shitty player in a key position and the ball will always find him

That was a shitty cry job by Anderson. Obviously he went into that interview with a red ass. I give Garfine some credit for standing up to it.

Passed ball by Grandal. Can't get down. He's done. Run scores. I have bad right knee. I can't catch. I'm 77 year's old . Grandal's knees are worse than mine. I'd also beat him in a foot race.

Good Paul Sullivan article (never thought I'd use that phrase) on a guy who made a video about my all-time favorite sports team, the 1990 White Sox. I talked to the guy who made the film a few times when he was on Instagram, but then he switched to Twitter.

Terrific display of baseball by the Sox on their 2nd game out against the Angels. Pop-up in front of the plate. Zavalas stands there like a . zombie. 3rd baseman doesn't come in and the first baseman make a latent dash for it as it bounces 3 feet in front of the plate. Same thing happened yesterday. What happened to these "teachable moments" whoever the new manager of this piece of shit team talked about?

Message to the White Sox manager. Put Jake Burger at 3rd base. Get rid of the malaise aka MONCADA. Don't over-think this. Burger has hit two balls that went over 450 feet. Easy power. Hit him in the 5 hole behind Gavin.

Burger got screwed last year by Toe Knee along with getting hit and breaking his hand. He was the best hitter going into the draft and has massive power. Moncada isn't worth a bucket of spit.

I dont see Burger as the answer to any problem that the Sox have.

You don't like a 3rd baseman with skillets for hands?

Maybe him and Clevenger could spank around some groupies with them.

They're good for making a burger after beating women and kids.

Give Burger 500 abs and he'd account for 35 HR .500 slugging for a team that needs help scoring runs.

I don't know if he is either, but we also have a 3 year sample size of Moncada being a .700 ops player. People keep hoping for the 2019 version to show up, when it's the only good season he's had in 6+ seasons. 2019 is the outlier, not the norm.
