I was right at the time. This game is bigger and tomorrows game will be as big.

And then the first playoff game will be even bigger. In fact, each following Sox game yet to be played will automatically be the biggest game they have ever played. Unless they play the Cubs. In which case, it would then be the biggest moment in the universe. Again.

Have to think the longer this delay goes, the more it helps the Sox.

You have a Tigers team looking to get home and hit the golf course. Them sitting in the clubhouse a few extra hours are only going to make these guys less motivated to go out there you'd have to think.

Beardown, "Mac" thinks this game won't start before 4:30p this afternoon, based on the monitors in the ESPN 1000 State Street studios downtown...

This is entirely possible, but I think Beardown's situation is more likely. Especially if the Sox jump out to an early lead of more than just a run or 2. Sox get up say 4 or 5 runs, you will see the Tigers simply going thru the motions in the later innings.


If they win, the Twins get into Chicago even later.

I just checked the radar. It looks like the rain is almost gone. There is no more rain coming from what I looked at.

Good point- I think if they put up 3+ runs early it's all but over. Then again, there is the Sox bullpen....

He's been hilarious to listen to the last couple weeks

Yesterday, he was completely watching the Royals game...I had it on and was flipping back and forth, and he's describing a play seconds after it's happening, in great detail. He obviously had it on a TV right next to him. It was hilarious how he was paying more attention to that game than the actual Sox game. It was like listening to him commentate a Royals game.
