Taking anything away from any no hitter is stupid. There are no levels of no hitters(besides possibly one in the playoffs). Any no hitter is a great accomplishment.

It's as dumb as putting down the 2005 White Sox championship because of some supposed "luck" to win it.

PLEASE let's just enjoy this moment and not get into the petty bickering. For too long in this city have we had nothing to cheer for as baseball fans no matter what side of town. Buehrle was incredible with the no hitter and even better today against a better team. Zambrano was awesome in his no hitter, good for him and good for the Cub fans. Why does everything have to devolve into a fight, let's enjoy a little bit of happiness and stop being fuck sticks for a little bit here. I'm SO glad I recorded this game. After the 5th inning I thought he had great stuff and had a chance so figured I'd record just in case. Good thing I did, this is incredible. I have a signed and matted picture from Buehrle after the no no. Now I have to get one for the perfect game and I'll have the start of a hopefully large collection...

Think Bruce Levine was pissed that Buerhle had to cut his press conference short in order to go take a congratulatory phone call from Obama?

Without Bruce and fellow voters, Obama wouldn't have a job...or at least this particular job.

Only thing separating Buehrle from being the only pitcher in MLB history with two perfect games is a walk of Sammy Sosa.

That was Les Grobstein. You know you listen to sports talk too much when you know the voices of the guys asking questions.

Yeah, Paul O'neill robbed a HR in the 9th inning of Boomer's perfect game didn't he?

That's my point exactly. So Hawk is saying it's best play under those circumstances he's ever seen, even though there is only a couple other plays to compare it to? He's trying to make a gradiose statement, but he's really saying nothing at all.

Ease off the high-horse a little Frank - contrary to the way you are posting, you weren't actually part of this thing today. Just try and enjoy it.

Buster Olney: Dewayne Wise catch one of the 5 greatest all-time defensive plays, and the best ever in a perfect game/no-hitter scenario.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Wow meatball, I mean Frank, if Buster Olney says it it must be true than. Isnt everything that just recently happened the best ever.

This past Superbowl was the best ever, this NBA series with the Bulls and Celts that was the best ever. Do you ever have your own thoughts?

Buehrle - Phenomenal game!
Wise - Unbelievable catch!
Zambrano - Magnificent performance!
Enough said - end of discussion!

Ozzie (immediately after the game in the press conf.) - I won't say it was one of the greatest catches ever, but in this situation, it was great.

You wouldn't disagree with Ozzie, would you? Are you even allowed to according to Sox by-laws?

Bottom line, it was a great catch. Period. Nothing else needs to be added to it to make it "greater". It is similar to catches that are made dozens of times around baseball every year. Every Sox fans' favorite player Torii Hunter made that catch three times per year for several years in a row, didn't he?

How many times did Torii Hunter do it in the 9th inning with a perfect game in tact?

the word is intact....1 word, not in tact.

It was a great catch, but people are exaggerating. I have seen Griffey Jr. make many better. Reed Johnson in Milwaukee, to rob Fielder was better, as was Johnson's catch in Arizona last season. Torri Hunter has made many better as well. But it was outstanding, saving the pefrecto, the no-hitter, the shutout....Buerhle owes him for that one.
