These announcers are brutal. Complained about the A’s not getting their pen up in the first and later chided the Sox for doing so after applauding it early. Talked several times about a consistent strike zone failing to recall at least three pitches called strikes off the plate in the first, which caused the announcer to talk about the wide strike zone.

Like I said before the game, if we lose, I sure hope it's because Renteria botched it. And he did. Right up to the 8th inning when he pinch ran for Grandal. For real, we needed 3 runs in the 8th to have a chance. Lost the DH and had 2 pitchers left.

this game was like a microcosm season.

first half of the game everything was going right. clutch ab's. powerful ab's. bombs.

second half they played like they forgot they were up and tanked and missed golden opportunities to deliver in late innings.
