Now Rodney certainly won't be available tomorrow. This is his 3rd inning. If they go 4 with him he might be done for the games 2 and 3.

You know how much Leyland wants this by keeping him out there.

Fernando Rodney has been nails tough out of the Tiger bullpen so far...This is his third inning of relief! A risky move by Jim Leyland, but so far Rodney has come up aces for them. Top 13th coming up, and will he come out for a 4th inning of relief?

The first baseball game I ever attended went 13 innings. It was Giants vs. Cubs at Wrigley. Todd Pratt had a chance to score on a wild pitch in the 12th inning, broke too late from 3rd and was thrown out at home. Rod Beck closed out the game.

You hit the nail on the head. I doubt we'll see Rodney or Thornton tomorrow and possibly Thursday night in the final 2 games of this series. Griffey just singled with 1 out in the bottom 13th with Alexei up again.

That pitch to Swisher was a ball, but at this point in the game it was way to close to take with 2 strikes.
