By my math, 3-0 and no bathrooms is equivalent to 9-1 and plentiful bathrooms. White Sox Schadenfreude, you're my silver medal.

With regard to Alexei, it's like when Buttermaker told Kelly Leake to go after every ball he could get to. So he's impossibly cutting in front of Johnson because we're frightened of Johnson's defense. I'd rather just see Beckham back there if that's gonna happen.

What a total crock of shit served up to us by both Chicago baseball teams on opening day. Thanks a lot, guys.

Scares me but you have to focus on the bigger picture. I will make my claims for the season 4/30.

everyone in baseball could see tyler flowers is a pretty shitty catcher who had a fortuitous half. the cat can't hit for shit, his framing yesterday was garbage and cost Shark strikes. his attempt on the wild pitch was lazy as hell. he just passively stabbed at the ball.

they were plenty of catchers available via trade on the market that were at least competent defensively.

Ridiculous. Two years ago you didn't even know what "framing" was. Now you're an expert. Anyway, if you actually believe that a catcher is responsible for getting more strikes, it's only apparent after a large sample with a wide variety of pitchers and umpires.

An observation doesn't make me an expert. Never said I was. I did watch the replay last night and there were a few borderline k-zone strikes that weren't given.

Yes, I didn't used to pay attention to framing but that the beauty of learning! You can be aware of new things.

Though, everyone did not need to learn flowers sucks. that's been a fact for like 4 years.

Learning new things is great. Repeating buzzwords is stupid.

it's simply another word for receiver. his lazy ass stab at shark's pitch in the dirt in the 3rd was the perfect representation of his shit catching ability.

Imagine the reaction if Cubs fans celebrated a solo home run in multiple threads, that happened to occur in a 10-1 loss.

What inning do the Royals retaliate today in response to Shark drilling Cain in the 5th yesterday?
