Avi/Melky/Soto rotation at DH. Melky has some experience in RF, and he'll handle the bulk of the duties there. Avi spends most of his time in a righty-righty platoon with Soto. Cespedes in LF, because it'd be stupid not to.

Reports out there that the White Sox are trying to trade for Cespedes. If they do that, which OFer is done? Garcia I would assume?

Would seem like a better goal would be to trade for 3B

So now the White Sox are buyers?

Better reserve those playoff tickets

Well, I finished four years of university but I admit I don't understand how those percentages are derived. Could you clarify?
A computer plays 1 million games as the Cubs, and 1 million games as the White Sox, and it makes up the results, and it spits out a number so people go to the website.

A week ago, the Cubs had like a 75% chance of making the playoffs. This week ruined their season.

I'm going on record right now as saying the Cubs have a 0% chance of making the playoffs. In two months we'll find out if I'm smarter than a computer.

I can answer that question now.....NO

Your Sox are falling apart fast. What is surprising, is that Sale is part of that equation. Perhaps that string of games with 10 or more K's wasn't such a great thing. Maybe he tried too hard for strikeouts, rather than being more efficient with his pitches and is a bit burned out now? Shark.....he's just being Shark. For every real good start, there will be a stinker. After all these years, you have to believe in his career numbers. An ERA over 4 and a losing record.

right, he suddenly turned into a strikeout pitcher these last 2 starts. before that he was a regular Mark Buhrle

That's stupid. Of course, he has had a good number of K's over his career. But when he had the streak with 10 or more K's in each game, it seemed like he was focusing on making sure to get double figures in strikeouts and continue the streak. He may have worn down a bit in doing so.
