you are looking incorrectly

the 25 ip in 2018 were after his trade. His total was 171 and 201 the year before that. But for last year he hasn't been below 158 in 11 years with the other 8 years all being over 170 ip. You can pretty much pen him in to make 30 starts per year.

This is a fine move if it is in conjunction with a TOR signing

I'm not fond of what's left on the FA market. Might as well look through trade, and if that's what has to happen, might as well get it into our heads that it might not be until July or even next off season.

I'm in "It Is What It Is" mode. We incremently improved with Grandal, Gio, and Mazara. Hopefully that's 20 extra HRs and 100 extra competent innings.
