The 93 rotation... You have your ace (McDowell/Sale) Your highly regarded draft pick (Fernandez/Rodon) Your workhorse (Alvarez/Quintana) Your wild card (Bere/Latos) Now they just need to take Danks out back and shoot him. |

I still wonder what would have happened if Lamont started Alvarez & Bere in games 1 & 2 of the ALCS instead of the clearly fading McDowell & Fernandez. |

I can remember having that thought at the time. McDowell was limping into the postseason. But that's a tough spot for any manager. Especially with a prickly bastard like McDowell.
