Big fan, he's scrappy and I'm pretty impressed by Frasier's glove.

Seems like the kind of guy who once made an untimely racist joke at a bar eventhough he's not really racist and a couple of people in the group got really offended.

Are you describing yourself?

No. I'm alot wiser on who I make my racist jokes around. Was thinking more of my friend, Scott.

Not even going to accuse him of it for his play, but the clock seems to be wound a little tight there. Seen the guy go nuts on singles.

26, former 1st rd pick, 3rd team, very Beckham like career, seeing the edge of being released and nowhere to play, its a much harder fall for a guy who was once seen as voted # 1 by GMS to start a franchise with.

You get moved from 3B to 2B, with 3 teams in 5 years, your next stop is out the door. Its not like a pitcher who, if you can throw above 90, can stick around for the next 5-7 years being a middle relief guy for a few mill.

Will always beckon back to some people I knew who told me about Mike Lansing the career year he was going to have and "steak dinner boom", 20 HRs and the money came in.

I dont even blame many of these guys. You spent your whole life to be a Baseball player, you are 26 or 27 and if you can have one really good year at that time you can be set with potential generational wealth if you just take some pills for a few months and work out like a maniac. Go for it.

I think I would ingest some product if put in that position as well.

To me, he seems like the type of guy that instead of ripping open a bag of Doritos, he'd find a scissors and neatly cut the top off.

Lawrie would pull up to a four way stop the same time as you and then motion for you to go, but you were kind of thinking he would go so you don't do anything, but then you both get on the gas, and then stop right away and he kind of laughs and waves you through again.

Lawrie seems like he would notice his cat fell asleep and then turn down the TV volume.

If he weren't playing well, his teammates would hate him. Still, he brings some life to a clubhouse that has been pretty dead ass for a few years. Everybody admires a guy like Konerko's quiet dedication but you do one Lawrie type as well.

We'll have to see if his father gets involved.

Nicky the Swish (Dirty 30) was spirited and the Sox built an ad campaign around him shortly after he began his tenure with the club. This guy strikes me as a similar type.
