Basically a lock at this point. Gotta figure his only competition, Latos, will regress a bit.

Quintana is going to give him a run for his money.

Sale, Quitana, Latos, the Sox 1-2-3 starters, will probably finish 1-2-3 in the AL Cy Young voting.

And Danks will finish 279th.

Zimmerman and Porcello off to great starts. Sale is the only one who will likely keep it up.

There have only been three guys in the last 20 years who have gone 5-0 in their first five starts while pitching at least 38 innings. Two of them are White Sox.

I remember Baldwin started 8-0. Loaiza in 2003 was insanely good. Garland was great in 05 and 06. Underrated career for the Sox.

Only 2 Cy Young winners that I am aware of in Chicago right now....Arrieta and Lester. What is the highest Sale has finished 3rd? Same place his team will finish. Sale has a history of wearing down in the 2nd half as he did again last season. I expect that will happen again in 2016. He's scrawny and wears out as the season goes on.

Lester never won a Cy Young. His best finish was 4th, which is not as good as Sale's third place finish.

Once again, you show that you know nothing about baseball. You can't even read, apparently. If you could read, this page would be very helpful for you.

Okay, so Arrieta is the ONLY Cy Young award winner in town, and will remain so, as Sale once again wears down in the 2nd half AGAIN and at best finishes in the top 5. Hell, Lackey was 9th in voting last season. I thought Lester won it in 2010 when he was 19-9, but he just finished 4th, as he did twice in his career. So he has something in common with Sale, top 5 finishes without ever winning the award. But he does have 2 World Series rings with the Red Sox and a solid chance at more now with the Cubs. That is another thing Sale will never have.

You can count on it, unlike Danks.

Danks always comes back for more that's kind of the problem we have with him.

It's is possible if not very likely for Chris Sale to have 2 WS rings with the Red Sox.

Something special about a Cub fan bragging about rings a Cub player earned with another team.

We should brag about Juan Uribe winning another in 2010.
