They could have brought back Edwin Jackson at league minimum and gotten better results instead of agreeing to take on 27M for Shields through 2018. Now about 10% of their payroll for the next 2 years is tied up on a washed up pitcher. For someone not to lose their job over this beyond a joke. |

Why does Reinsdorf run both his franchises like this? As a fan of the Bulls I'm increasingly tired of this operational strategy. The lack of effective management is astounding in both organizations. |
