They will be with the BP Cup in about 20 minutes.

At least we can finally put to rest the myth that the NL caught up to the AL. Proof is in the pudding. Cubs are frauds.

Is Miguel Gonzalez not a starter?

Do you even watch the games?

How did it take 2 and a half hours to make this correction?

White Sox playing motivated, pre-trade deadline baseball in hopes of not being overly sold-off/losing Sale.

If they don't mind trading him to a division rival, Tigers could be fleeced for Shields, and could handle his bloated salary.
Dunno what the Tigers have in their system the White Sox would either want or they'd give up. Dombrowski was their GM for a decade or so, and Dombrowski views prospects purely as trade bait. Dombrowski's new team (Red Sox) or Rangers more likely for Shields.

I stand corrected. I forgot that Cy Gonzalez gave up a late HR to the Cubs.

This thread is still great. Lots of good Chapman does in the bullpen when the Cubs cant get a lead to protect!

Heyward needs to sit for a few games. If he knows what the issue is outside of the 3 game hours per day...then he is pressing and forgetting about it during his at bats.

Bryant going through this little slump isn't helping either.
