We can't even joke with you this week. You seem to be very tense. What's the deal? |

Cubs fans have thier team in the World Series, and they are posting more about the Sox than Sox fans are. Most of you like to preach that you don't care about the Sox. This would be the perfect week NOT to care about the Sox. Yet some of you just cant help yourselves. |

This isn't a shot at Sox fans, Frank. That's what I mean... why so worked up? |

I have to say in all seriousness, this Cubs thing doesn't really bother me at all. I'm not purposely avoiding it but it just doesn't matter all that much. My dad is a Cub fan but he is closer to the Bernstein "silent contemplation" reveler than a firework shooter. Sure the ridiculousness is off the charts in the media and on the board but if I don't post about it, it just kind of disappears from consciousness. Total zen state. |

Pulled out his ever favorite "Sux" insult. Couldn't name the Cubs starting pitcher Saturday Night. Thought it was Elmhurst Cocksucker, but his wife/girlfried wasn't a horse. |

I've retired my Cardinals hat until April. Don't even want to engage in any conversations with you people. |

Next time they give you shit for Best Fans in Baseball, or whatever stupid moniker the Cardinal fanbase refers to itself, simply state that their theme song clearly states "Chicago Cubs got the greatest fans" |

Thought it was Elmhurst Cocksucker, but his wife/girlfried wasn't a horse. Seriously? Just out of the blue? Yeah. I was at Clark Street Sports at Hawthorn on my way home from bowling. My wife wanted me to get a Cubs shirt for my daughter (lord knows why), and this dude starts in with "Sux" fans should go to the back of the line. Full disclosure, I was wearing my Sox hoodie, because without thinking about it, I put it on while half awake and fairly hungover before going out to breakfast yesterday morning. Long story short, I don't respect people starting a discussion about baseball with "Sux", and when this guy pulled out the name "Karl Henderson" as his answer to my question, I just rolled my eyes, and heard the guy behind me to tell this idiot to just shut the fuck up. |

It really is remarkable how needy some of these Cub fan dopes are. Most I've encountered are dumbfounded that I won't be jumping on the bandwagon. The concept is pretty simple. I root for my team you root for your team. Not really interested in being persuaded simply for the sake of civic pride. Based on the logic employed but these knuckle draggers we should all love Fall Out Boy simply because they are from Chicago. Sorry guys. GO TRIBE!!! |

Hey,I know this is rough. I went through it in 2005. At least the Sox started off in the right direction hiring Renteria. I think he's a good manager but it's a down year for free agency. I think a Chris Sale trade for some working parts and not future parts will help. |

I still don't believe in the plan. 3 years were shot in the ass. There was no way in Hell that Epstein could have predicted the turnaround in career for Arrieta and the coming of age for Hendricks. Anyone who thought that was "planned" is nuts. |
