They'll never get enough value for Sale and they won't be able to replace him unless Rodon takes a huge step forward. They should be looking to move Quintana. |

Don't trade Sale. And fuck the front office if they are "getting tired of Sale's act". Us fans are getting tired of their act. I don't give a fuck about Sale cutting up some dumbass jerseys. |

Frazier, Torres, Mateo/Judge + some lesser stuff and maybe the Sox throw in Nate Jones or something. Sale will be in pinstripes by Christmas. |

Trade him for virtually nothing to the team with the best chance to beat the Cubs in 2017. |

Add Ces, and another guy. Spend the god damn money! |

If I were the Sox I'd demand Sanchez from the Yankees, threaten to trade Sale to Boston if the Yankees don't buck up. Get Sanchez, Frazier and some combination from the 5-10 range of the Yankees loaded system and I'd be quite happy. That won't happen though, Yankees won't budge. |

You gotta clean house, too much losing from this squad for them to be able to turn it around. Their season ended after that one horrible loss in Arlington and the whole team (including Sale) quit. Sale is the one you expect to get you a cornerstone guy, while Eaton and Quintana provide a quantity of hype-able prospects. Robertson, Nate Jones, Melky, Frazier and Abroo can all be dealt fairly easily and maybe something worthwhile comes back your way. Sox are talented now but mentally weak. Have to press the reset button on them, new leaders will probably get them above .500 alone. |

I'm just not sure they have guys who know how to do it so that it works. I also think you can put a contender on the field and trade Quintana for a bunch of young talent at the same time. |

The Tribesmen in charge will never trade cheap pitching. Their most important analytic is $ below market value contract. Sale and Quintana lead the league. |

Well, the whole point of a complete rebuild is to get young core players under control at reasonable prices. The Sox already have those guys. |

getting one of those doyers studs would've been ideal when they were perhaps available. seager and urias now non-starters. what about hitting up the braves? send sale down to hillbilly land for swanson and inciarte. they got a new park to open |

Only if it improves their $ below market value number. |

They went "all in" in 2010 by signing a DH and going cheap everywhere else. If you have the plan "going for it" you have to be in top ten in spending, and you buy to cover-up up mistakes. Otherwise the plan is hope some guys have career years at the same time. |

The Sox have 3 of those guys. The two pitchers are both overrated and not necessarily young anymore, Eaton is good though I like him. Anderson and Rodon have a lot to prove and there's nothing on the minors that is particularly exciting. Organization is in complete shambles, really. There's no depth in the minors, there's no depth in the majors. Half their lineup is garbage, half their rotation is garbage, their entire bullpen is garbage. As things stand the Sox are completely hopeless. |

These guys haven't drafted well enough to pick the right prospects for Sale. |
