It would be right in step with the Sox history of signing former MVP's...

Seaver, Griffey Jr, Carlton, Belle, Ramirez, etc.

Much more likely. It would make more sense for them to pick up as many young players as possible that have had injuries derail them or were highly rated but struggled like Rizzo had early on after being given a chance at the big league level. But signing A-Rod seems more like a Kenny move.

I fully expect this. I know Arrieta is the new kid on the block but Arod's a legend in the "training" community. It'll be Arrieta's new school pilates and green tea vs Arod's creams and masking agents.
