Guess that's the real reason he started throwing late in Spring training. This shouldn't happen under Herm/Coop.

Bicep not elbow. So I can't imagine TJ is likely.

Well our not frigid at all first month spring temps here should work wonders for tight biceps.

there have been an uncharacteristic amount of injuries this spring. I'm hoping this is nothing but the way they have babied him this spring leads me to believe this is an "oh, shit" injury.

Reminds me of Sale a couple years ago when "fell out of his truck" and missed the first three or so weeks.

That's why ya move Q now, he could be on the DL in 30 days and his value in the crapper.

No structural damage revealed in Carlos Rodon's MRI, #WhiteSox say. Will have second opinion next week. Left bicep tightness.

Good news. We'll see what Boras' doctors say next week.

Absolutely true. Waiting for a better third player in this trade isn't worth the downside.

Weird. I trust them to handle this correctly.

The reluctance the team had to get him going earlier in spring training was curious and now this.....The team is not going to contend in 2017, so dealing with this properly is the priority. If it means they lose a couple more games, so much better. It just means perhaps a higher pick in the draft.

Hard hitting analysis that you can only get from Steve in Elmhurst.

Don't try to tell me that Rodon doesn't already have his first FA contract on his mind.

Rodon was the can't miss prospect and they might have ruined him. Why the hell did they have him skip AA? That is probably the most valuable stop from a learning/development perspective on the minor league circuit.

There was speculation that his contract included a quick-to-MLB clause that was thrown in there to satisfy the Boras aspect.

Could Boras be putting this all out there as a signal to the front office to get his client off the sinking ship that is the White Sox?

I'm not seeing that. A bit early for that angle.

Is it more difficult to get injured in AA?
