Good. He's fucking terrible.

This isn't a DFA. He is just going back to the minors. That is a good thing for him and for the Sox./

To DFA a guy means he is no longer a part of the MLB organization, he is off the 40 man roster. The team has 10 days to trade him, and after that 10 days he can accept a minor league assignment or become a free ajent.

And truth be told, as bad as May has been at the plate, he looks like Babe Schwarber compared to Cody Ashce. HE the is the guy who should be packing his bags for Charlotte.

I believe he was talking about May, of which he is correct. May was only on the big league club because Tilson is hurt. I didn't expect much out of him, but I do expect a big leaguer to hit better than 2/36.

The fact that they sent an OF down must mean that Avi is not really hurt all that much and was just getting a day off.
