1.Will I get beat up? I don't intend to wear any Cubs gear or any baseball gear. I hell won't wear any Sox gear. Im sure i'll stand out, but would that mean my ass for lunch by the Sox fans?

2.Is the upper deck really that high? I plan to buy the cheapest seat and work my way down if possible.

3.Is the food really that good? All I hear about the ballpark is that the food is great. But my source is Larry Holmes from the Score.

4.Bathrooms clean for the most part?

That's not really funny. Any time there's a giveaway there's a pretty big crowd. If you want that stupid clock you better be there by 4:30.

i was seeing the game tonight and the upper deck was a barren wasteland. It seems like you can get lost up there. There were lot of seats along side the lower outfield corners. When I'm in it looks like they're playing the Yankees but the tickets are $7. Thats a great deal. Just the other week at Wrigley I'm sure it was over $60.

If you have time before or after the game, stroll on down a bit south to Pershing/Fuller park. Vibrant neighborhood with great dining and shopping options.

3) Food is ok - But why eat at the park other than maybe a hotdog - I grab char dog from Maurie Omallys on the walk in and am ok til after the game -

I've sat in the upper deck behind home plate a number of times and find them the be great for the money. Particularly on Sunday when they're $10 and so is parking. Tailgate and the cost and quality of food/beer is less of a concern.

plus the smokey joe and kingsford should fit in carry on.

Nobody will beat you up. Wear Cub crap if you want. You won't be the only one.

If there's a big crowd and you have a 500 level seat you may not be able to get down to the 100 level. I think you can get a bleacher seat for $14 for most games. I'd do that so you can get downstairs.
