It is readily apparent that many Sox fans have suffered tremendous trauma during and in the immediate aftermath of the 2016 baseball postseason. Clearly, many of them are angry, and confused, suffering greatly. Many are exhibiting symptoms eerily similar to post trumatic stress disorder. In an effort to assist those brothers and sisters in need of a place that is safe from mention of that other baseball club, i have created this thread to help them... a thread that is a place in which they may console each other, tell their favorite stories of past baseball glories, and work their way through their anxieties and worries. The rules are simple: No one may mention that other baseball club. From this moment forward, no mention of them in any way will be tolerated Maths may not be checked for accuracy as no answer or opinion is wrong here. No name calling. No vaguely baseball triggering behavior. Thats that men and women. Please... be safe and lets all get thru this together |

You would get more Sox fan response if you posted this in the Cubs section. |

That's the whole point of this safe place. We want a place where you guys never have to hear about that trumatic stuff in any way, direct or vague. Brick currently cannot help himself... he still feels traumatized and can't help but bring the other guys into it but hopefully, together, we can bring him peace and healing. |

Nah you're just lashing out and would rather make silly threads like this than talk about your underachieving team. The below thread destroys this narrative anyway: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=102843 |

We're not talking about that other team here farvio. This is about healing for you guys. I know its nearly impossible for you to not mention what you're not supposed to be mentioning (as evidenced by every sox fans pretty much mentioning them) but rules are rules and we need to keep this place safe for you. |

You're not too good at this. You should take notes on dolphin and JORR. I'm pretty sure most of us aren't upset by something we posted we were rooting to happen. |

I'm not perfect, farvio, and i believe your criticism coule be more constructive rather than being rude. I may not be perfect at trying to create the safest of all places and knowing and accepting that i am more than willing to partner with you to make this place safer and more free of triggers. What else would you recommend to help out our suffering Sox fans? I guess i coukd start by pointing out the positive stuff. What a great turnout for the retirement game for Buehrle, eh? And word is he really enjoyed it as well. What a swell day for everyone! |
