Sox fans saying their rebuild was better even if they don't win a WS because their prospects ended up being better major league ball players than the Cubs,

Waves and waves of talent.

Based on what I hear from Sox fans today, they've already won the next 5 championships, and every one of these prospects will be Mickey Mantle. This is a Sox thing. All my Sox friends are ready to crown people, but it's in their DNA so I don't mind.

Unfortunately, it just doesn't work that way. Jimenez is a great talent, but you'd be crazy to think he will outperform the career of Junior Lake.

It's great that all these 20-something Sox fans can sacrifice a couple years and accept losing, but what about guys like jimmypasta? He's a Sox fan who doesn't have years to wait.

Every season is sacred, and every year Hahn tanks is a slap in the face to loyal, long-time peanut vendors.

In all honesty, I'm not mad. I think this could work for both teams. It was just crazy to hear all Sox fans today talking about how they had the AL Central wrapped up for the next five years.

I'm pissed because Quintana is trash. The icing on the cake is the 180 that Sox fans have right now regarding prospects.
