GD, i know they wont go 162-0, but this is not what you want to see on any start, let alone opening day. he cant throw strikes at all, and when he does, they're klilling it.

i guess the best thing is the off day tommorow so the bullpen can get the extra day of rest after getting used heavy today

It doesn't seem like our friends on the North side are doing that hot, either.

GD and Beardown are the violin players on the Titanic.

And how would you react to panic after 4 innings of a season have been completed?

It's 1 game and I had already chalked this one up as a loss because of the pitching matchup. I would have liked Contrearas to be better but it's just one bad loss against a team many consider to be very good.

Is Zambrano the Titanic because he gave up 5 runs? Are the Yankees going to suck because they are in a dogfight with Tampa?

I like the Garland v. Westbrook matchup on Wednesday.

Just got back from the game and it was pretty damn depressing. I'm not jumping off any ledges by any means but it was not a good way to start a season. Nice first AB by Erstad though.

i guess they won't go wire to wire this year....

SOX!

i know they sucked, but don't let the super bowl hangover ruin opening day kids!

I love this time of year. I get to see everyone overreact to every single loss. Well at least we know the Cubs and Sox won't win 162 games this year

I just got back a bit ago too. If you're going to any games there, go early. Traffic and the el are both cluster-fucked.

It was the worst first inning of any Sox games I have ever seen

But hey, at least that hit off of Sabathia (so they say)

Yes GD I think Garland v Westbrook will be better

They should have started Buerhle, grant it you don't what you going to get but can't break tradition

This is why this happened

I'm kidding before anyone calls me out

I am wound tighter than a Dominican made baseball these days.

If anyone is thinking of an Easter present for me I could use a Thai massage at Madame La FiFi's Boom Boom Room.
