Covey and Danish are slated to pitch today. This is a big spring for both. Hopefully they were able to develop an out pitch so they can be useful bullpen guys. If not they're in 4A purgatory. |

Timmy Anderson getting ready to take that next step and up his on base percentage from .276 to the .290 range. Can’t wait. .276 was 3rd worst in the majors last year, there’s nowhere to go but up (to the .290 range). |

Unfortunately they don’t have a gun on him but it’s safe to say he was throwing hard. K, GO-5, 2B, K. Got 4 swings and misses all on the fastball. He’s missing badly with the slider. |

He's done after 2. He gave up 2 hits and struck out 3. He got 7 swings and misses. 6 on the FB and 1 on a really nice change. The slider didn't look any better in the 2nd. |

James Fegan (@JRFegan) Jake Burger hit a slow chopper and was digging hard for first to beat out the throw when he staggered and fell.
