Tough injury for anyone to recover from but especially tough for a non athlete. This really does suck. |

America wrote: Torn achilles He'll never recover. Stop it. His estimated time of return is 6-8 months. He could be back for fall ball but definitely in time for spring training next year. He loses a year of development, which sucks. He'll probably be back before Rodon. |

Well the Adolfo injury seems extremely minor compared to what was initially reported, but Burger is probably in the same bin as Rodon. You can hope all you want but I would not count on him ever playing a big league inning until he's demonstrated he can. |

I was told these injuries don't matter to hitters. No loss of power. |

Howard also tore his at the end of the 2011 season when he was 31 years old, and he already had close to 300 big league homers to his name. Little bit of a different scenario here. |

It was questionable whether this kid was ever going to play third in the big leagues anyway. |

Joe Orr Road Rod wrote: It was questionable whether this kid was ever going to play third in the big leagues anyway. I think questionable was being VERY optimistic. I could see Kenny thinking this might happen, but I think most of us saw a DH being picked. |
