You haven't even seen Jimenez yet, Giolito and Lopez are on schedule.. I'm not a huge believer in Kopech or Robert or Burger. |

I look at it like the Bulls with Butler, never going to win as the team was constructed..trade him n reshuffle the deck.. Who knows how it ends.. I like Lopez and Giolito and Eloy as corner stones. |

Whomever is responsible for that trade should be fired in the off-season if Moncada continues to suck. You really can't get that one wrong. |

Butler wasn't arguably the most valuable player in basketball and the Bulls return doesn't look like crap. |

In reality, if you’re so bad at your job that you feel you need to trade Sale 5 years after drafting him you deserve to be fired at that time. |

It also doesn't look good for Robert. Just cant stay healthy. Sox took themselves out of the international market for 2 critical years for no real reason. If you are looking for a silver lining early, Basabe is massacring A+ right now. |

Sale should have netted Moncada AND Benintendi. |

This is a ridiculously hysterical take. Moncada has struck out a lot, but why does that mean that the entire rebuild is doomed? Dunning, Kopech and Cease have started out well in the minors. Out of those guys plus Hansen, Rodon, Giolito, Lopez and Fulmer you have the makings of a good rotation and the start of a good bullpen. Delmonico looks like a major league hitter. Yolmer looks like a great platoon piece in a worst case scenario. Davidson looks like he might be Adam Dunn in the DH roll. So there are some piece to work with while Eloy, Burger, Robert etc. develop. |

Burger's career is over until further notice. Throw him on the same pile as Rodon. I do agree the rotation can be really good if they get lucky. I still believe in Giolito 100% and Lopez has been very encouraging early. BUT they wont be able to score. Even if Eloy is Manny they wont be able to score. Moncada is a complete black hole offensively and I dont think he's ever going to get better. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll be Javy Baez, but even that looks doubtful. Guy is a lost cause. |

He lacks the very critical baseball skill of being able to hit baseballs with a bat. |

The hitting prospects are not encouraging. Hopefully they sign Avi long term. I love Lopez and like the pitching prospects in general. Rebuild could be alright. It would be better if the people that necessitated it weren’t in charge of it. |

acquiring talent is one part of the equation. developing the talent is even more important and the white sox have shown no ability to develop positional player talent. This organization hasn't developed a star positional player since..... ? |

This organization hasn't developed a star positional player since..... ? Let's be fair here. Since the 2005 team, what has Kenny pretty much done? Traded prospects. So, I am not sure that completely fair to say. I think we are seeing the first go at trying to develop those types of players. |

Let's not forget he started his baseball playing late. Like junior year in HS. Now Engel, that's a different story. He couldn't square up a ball if it was sitting on a tee. He has NO CHANCE at MLB level. |

This organization hasn't developed a star positional player since..... ? Aaron Rowand? Jose Abreu is probably the answer with caveats. Lopez looks like top of the rotation guy. Giolito has had two quality starts. Bullpen and defense have been bad. Offense has been spotty, but it's tough to built any consistency with the schedule the've had: four cancellations, two scheduled off days and generally weather in the 30s-40s with rain. |
