this gay ass shit.

-they want Madrigal but there is a split where some prefer Singer

In an ideal world they go the safe route and sign Kelenic underslot and clean up in rounds 2-5.

There is also little doubt that Kenny is very interested in Kyler Murray.

I want Singer, but IF Kenny is the one who wants him, I want NO PART of Singer.

Everyone is very interested in Kyler Murray.

Is there indication that he'll jump to MLB? Just seems to risky to leave to chance.

If a team uses a top pick on him they will know he's signing. I haven't heard confirmation on if he's going to sign or not.

Yes I believe almost everyone does. Lance Broadway, Kyle McCulloch, Jared Mitchell etc.

Parts unknown
Which top prospect is most likely to end up being described as a "gamer" or being "gritty"?

Keith Law
Madrigal. 5'7" 155 pound white middle infielder who isn't a plus runner.

That's just their top 10 prospects not a projection of who will go where.

Ah.

Thanks.

I will now go back to ignoring prospects.

Well now were in full uncertainty mode because the Phils seem more likely to take Madrigal at 3 if Mize goes to Detroit or SF than they ever have.

There’s a lot of misinformation floating around. A lot of agents playing games with the top of the draft. I think Avila is in over his head.

I dont want a pitcher but man, if Mize were to fall to 4 they'd have to do it.

Post subject:  Re: DRAFT 18

The only way he's falling to 4 is if there's something wrong with his medicals.

Detroit goes Bart
SF goes Winn
Philly really has Madrigal at the top of their board

that would leave the Sox right there with Mize. I mean, the call this scenario unlikely would be an understatement.

The Phillies would shit on themselves if Mize fell to them.

I am all but certain it'll be Madrigal but if its not, and they draft Singer with Madrigal on the board, I will be really upset.

Post subject:  Re: DRAFT 18

The whole room wants Madrigal and if the one guy who doesn't gets to overrule all of them to make this pick it'll be a bad bad bad sign.

Author:  Keyser Soze [ Mon Jun 04, 2018 6:05 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: DRAFT 18

It would be a great sign because then someone in there actually knows what he’s doing. To bad they didn’t listen to him last year when they took Berger over Evan White.

Post subject:  Re: DRAFT 18

nah fuck that if I'm drafting a pitcher 1.4 I need more velocity than what Brady is cooking up.

Post subject:  Re: DRAFT 18

Fangraphs saying Kenny has overruled the room. We'll see.

Post subject:  Re: DRAFT 18

I swear if they draft a guy who only struck out 92 batters in 88 innings at the NCAA level just because Kenny likes his demeanor.
