Who will prove to be the taller midget in Chicago sports--Nick Madrigal or Tarik Cohen?

Joe Morgan & Yogi Berra were 5'7"
Rickey Henderson, Willie Mays & Ozzie Smith were only 2" taller than Madrigal at 5'10"
Miguel Tejada, Mel Ott, & Pudge Rodriguez were 5'9"

You know who else had a playing height of under 6'?

Yaz.

Napoleon in Time Bandits: "Alexander the Great, five feet eight exactly. Isn't that incredible! I mean, Alexander the Great, who's empire stretched from India to Hungary, one inch shorter than me. Oliver Cromwell, the only man with any guts in British history, wasn't a big man at all. Louis XIV, five foot two and a half. Charlamagne, dopey little five footer! He's a good little chum. Attila the Hun, five foot one half. Cyrano de Bergerac, five foot three half. Tamburlaine the Great, four foot nine - and three-quarters."

Isn't his game essentially like Dustin Pedroia?

Two seasons in the weight room then on to MLB with 10-15 HR power.

I think that Yaz had a more complete game than Pedroia. Just ask Hawk.

Bernstein and the Other Guy said earlier today that Madrigal ranks right now as the 31st best prospect in baseball.

Did they cite a source or is that just their opinion based on their extensive knowledge of all the other prospects in baseball?

4. Eloy Jimenez OF
15. Michael Kopech P
17. Luis Robert OF
33. Nick Madrigal SS
75. Zack Collins C
86. Micker Adolfo OF
91. Dane Dunning P
111. Zack Burdi P
113. Alec Hansen P

And Dylan Cease was overlooked, he’s certainly worthy of Top 131.

Luis Gonzalez (OF) pushing a .900 OPS in Single A. He should be promoted soon.

Shit, Luis Basabe (OF) is also pushing a .900 OPS in Single A. The forgotten man in the Chris Sale trade.
